Tamilnadu Smart Ration Card System is an ongoing System operated by The Government of Tamilnadu. TN public distribution system is updating all the ration cards into the Smart Ration Card. The applications are welcome on their official website. It is one of the system that will help the people of Tamilnadu have hassle-free purchasing while going to take the ration services. Just like the central government’s scheme of Digital Ration card, this system is also the same kind of approach for increasing public-friendly services in the state.

here are the steps to register online for ration card in tnpds.

  2. Please choose one of the options on the top right corner of the website. People from Tamilnadu can choose their own mother tongue Tamil language or English from the right most corner of the website.

  3. Click on the Smart card application button. The following will appear. Select New Smart Card Application and fill the necessary information over there.

  • Fill in the information and then agree to the terms & conditions and Submit.
The reference number after submitting the application will be sent to mobile number & email id both. Keep it for further reference and checking status of your application through the same website.

TNPDS Smart Card Status

It is necessary to present any of the Government of India authorised proof before submitting the application. The documents will be as follows.
  • Aadhar card
  • Electricity bill
  • Front page of the bank passbook of your account
  • Gas consumer card
  • Property card in case of own House
  • Passport
  • Rent Agreement (for tenants)
  • Telephone bill
  • Voter Id card

Any of the above given proof in soft copy is mandatory to attach with the online application form. Any of the above, not all. Otherwise the application will not be submitted. Once you submit the application, you can check the status of your application through this website only. There is a column for gas connection given at the bottom of the application. If the customer owns a gas connection, they will have to fill the information like Name, Gas Company, LPG Consumer number, Name of the distributor etc.

Once the process completes, the consumer will receive application number on the mobile for future reference. Checking the status of application is available on the same page. We have shown it in the image above.

This system is active in private institutions, whereas in governmental institutions it is also necessary to build a reputation of such organizations. This is how the system will improve employees’ vision for work will expand.

It was recommended in 6th pay commission to the Govt. of India. The scheme in which bonus will be offered to the employees as per their performances. Central government is very positive about the change that will bring a lot of competition and eventually it will improve the total amount of work of work for the employees. This scheme is also considered as a target achievement scheme in which employees will work even harder to achieve their targets and in return they will get bonus. The bonus will be an additional amount after the salary.

In the 7th pay commission, PRIS is now in a movement to start. The details will be out soon. Performance related scheme is a variable part of pay that is offered to the eligible individuals on their performance bases. This scheme will work on individual or Team work/group bases. This scheme has nothing to do with other service increments and typical allowances. PRIS is strictly applied on the base of performance of individual department. Some of the rules are as follows…

  • Assigning targets to the particular department
  • Specifications to the departments on the actions to achieve the target
  • Target achievement indicators
  • Select targets for particular group or person/ the reason for increasing efforts.
  • Performance evaluation

PRIS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND PERFORMANCE RULES

  • Bio-metric system must be installed in the department for checking the punctuality of the government officials.
  • More than 70% of the target should be covered by the department on the results framework document.
  • Two full years Result Framework Document (RFD) should be prepared by the departments.

The employees’ union can give suggestions on how to implement or how to modify this scheme.

Apart from the recommendations from 6th pay commission, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is establishing a few new improvements in this scheme that will be beneficial for all employees. The scheme is designed in different ways for different departments viz. Central Government Employees, DRDO Employees, Department of Atomic Energy etc. Every department will take rewards as per the design i.e. monthly, quarterly or yearly. Relatively this scheme will be awarded based on the designations and their percentage of salary. Such rewards have nothing to do with the regular increment of allowances therefore it is necessary to take it as a reward only and not something like a fixed quarterly /yearly increment.
