Unlike most websites, ADP does not require a customer ID (such as an email address) or a password to sign in – Just use your Employee # (EID) and one of the options listed above for entering a password will be available after signing in. This is because each user has different capabilities depending on their job role and level within the organization’s hierarchy.
The easiest way to figure out if you forgot how to log into ADP is if you already have a screen that looks like this when you load the login page:
This is where your employee ID (EID) and password must be entered. Enter your EID and the password associated with it (or use only your EID if you know or are pretty sure of what it is). If you do not remember either one, then proceed to Step 4 below to try and reset your forgotten account’s password so that you can log in later. Please note that all changes made from adp workforce online have to be done by someone who already has access to the account’s information. That person can make certain changes which will cause their ADP login permissions to change accordingly. For example…
If an employee leaves the company, they cannot just remove their own access to the account – They will have to update their login information with ADP or its payroll processor, such as TriNet.

If a manager is promoted, they can be given additional logins and permissions through adp workforce online so that others’ accounts may be managed in addition to their own.

If one cannot remember both the password and/or username used for the account because it has been too long since you were last logged in, then there is one final method you can try to gain access.
