Shaadi Mubarak Yojana for Muslims: Day by day in this era, different governments are trying to bridge the gap between them and the people of the country. It seems like a few schemes introduced in a past few years have actually uplifted so many lives especially minorities. The government of Telangana introduced such scheme soon after establishment of the state in 2014. The scheme provides 51,000/- to the Muslim communities with girl child and with the income of 2,00,000/- per year or lower than that. This scheme has received so much appreciation and applause from Muslim poor families.
To help a family in their various occasions whether be it good or bad, is a noble cause. The government is providing a financial assistance of RS. 51,000/- to minorities with one such gesture. This scheme is further modified and also known as “Kalyan Lakshmi Yojana”, in which families with the girl child who belongs to SC/ST communities and economically backward classes (EBC) are also getting 51,000/- financial assistance on their girl’s marriage. Recently the Chief Minister of the state Shri Chandrashekhar Rao said that they have increased the limit from 51,000/- to 1,00,016/- rupees.
It means that girl who belongs to Muslim, SC/ST or Economic Backward Classes’ family will get the financial assistance of rupees one lakh on their marriage occasion. The government has already spent 350 crores on this scheme. Anybody who wish to apply for the scheme will have to go through the website telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in , apply there and check the status of their application. It shows three options as follows.

Register : For new registrations

Application Status: For chekcing the status of the application

Edit Application/Upload scanned documents: for uploading Aadhar card, Bank details, income certificate and other documets.

Shadi Mubarak Scheme Application Status
It shows basic information such as Name, Aadhar Number, Educational qualification, Phone number, Caste, bank details, address details etc. Finally, at the end of the process the documents’ section is available where the girl has to submit uploaded documents like bride’s photo, bride’s Age proof certificate, Bride’s scanned Aadhar copy, Bride-Groom’s scanned Aadhar copy, brides’ and her mothers’ scanned bank passbook. These documents are mandatory and without these processes of uploading it on the portal, the process is not complete.
Once you finish this process, click on the submit button. If the documents are verified and portal accepts it, then the applicant will get the application number for further reference. If anybody doesn’t have the documents on hand, they can simply fill up other details and they can save it. The 3rd option we have shown above will be helpful while editing the application and uploading the remaining documents online. Once the whole process completes, the applicant will receive the application number on the mobile. They have to keep it for any further reference regarding this scheme.
